What's this?
The Change Log, I guess.
It is intended to be an ongoing log, sort of in the style of a "blog" that tells you what I've changed. It's mostly here so you can yell at me when something I do messes up something that you are looking at. I don't always get to test every possible combination of browser and environment so it's both possible and likely that I'll mess someting up.
But, not to worry, we aren't controlling the missle defense system for the United States unless the NSA pulled a fast one and I'm now in charge! (frightful!) so any corrections can be handled as they are discovered.
The log will be in reverse order, showing the most recent changes at the top for your viewing pleasure.

We have switched to using MediaWiki as our Wiki. This software is much more robust (it forms the basis for Wikipedia) and is easier to control. It is especially good at reversing edits, whether malicious or otherwise.

Too hot and muggy out so I'm working inside on the web site. It's also raining, off and on, so that limits activity too!
I installed Apache and PHP on my local machine so I could do bigger updates and test locally. This means that I can feel more confident that the changes I upload to the real server will actually work. Which means I can be a little adventurous.
The main change was the addition of the menu bar at the top of the page. A little PHP magic pulls in a random image for each button. How many of the patterns (Yes, I know they are very small!) can you name? Thanks to Dawn Lesley Stewart. Thank you, Dawn, for the quilt block images!
I've also rearranged the pages a bit and added a couple.
And, finally, I added a favoites icon to the site. It's a tiny version of our bee; now you can easily find our site in your list of favorites.

Added the Google search to only the home page and added the Firefox download link to the bootom of all pages. I use Firefox and like it a lot so I wanted to "share" it.
Updated Moira's raffle quilt instructions, she changed the background fabric. I suppose I need to go update the Wiki too!?

LOTS of changes today! I only launched the new site a couple of days ago and found several problems. First of all, because of sloppiness on my part, Internet Explorer wasn't showing the site formatted correctly. I had left off some critical parts that Firefox worked around (thank's Firefox!) but IE had a problem with. No fault to IE from here, I had made some really stupid misteaks[sic!] and got caught with my HTML down!.
I also changed some of the other code to make it a little easier to add new pages. This is a "work in progress" so I want to make the maintenance as easy as I can.
