2008 Christmas challenge I received from my 'giftor.' Center is from a Crabapple Hill embroidery pattern. Flowers, berries and leaves are wool. Embellished with iridescent beads one gets a sense of snow crystals. I was beyond thrilled to receive this
Made from pattern by Crabapple Hill. Shown prior to quilting. Quilter used pineboughs and pine cones in white areas of border and swirls through center snowman vignettes.
My '08 Swarm challenge (not yet quilted). Rather than Mountains (as per pattern) mine look more like foothills 'cause I didn't follow the directions - my bad!

Made for guild challenge. Received brown bag w/3 half yd. pieces. Had to make a gift for the owner of the brown bag using some of each fabric. 575 sq. inches minimum.
